Carla Muñoz De Cote

 

Carla Muñoz de Cote is Co-Founder and Strategic Talent Director at Omkara, a specialized talent consulting firm based in Guadalajara, Mexico, supporting organizations across North America.

Through its team of specialized consultants, Omkara provides executive talent solutions across several areas, including managerial, C-level, and technology recruitment and headhunting; People Analytics and leadership assessments; compensation and benefits strategy (Mexico market); and workforce solutions that support companies in the United States and Canada expanding their operations into Mexico. Carla leads the strategic direction of these initiatives, working closely with executive teams to align leadership, talent, and organizational growth.

 

Earlier in her career, Carla spent 16 years at Diagnostica Internacional, a family-owned healthcare company, where she led national sales strategy and supplier relationships. This experience gave her strong exposure to business operations and leadership dynamics, which later shaped her interest in organizational growth and talent strategy.

 

Carla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from ITESO in Guadalajara and an MBA in Business Administration. She has also completed several executive programs and diplomas in Human Resources, a field that gradually became her professional passion and vocation.

 

She is a member of NALA (Class of 2024) and serves on both the International Planning Committee and the Mexico Chapter Leadership Committee, contributing to the development and growth of the North American network.
